Installed this under my centre console in my Hilux and it holds my Z88 like a rock. No rattling on the gravel roads, no fuss. Draw is smooth and fast. Best R200 I've spent on security in a long time. Highly recommend to any South African who takes their safety seriously.

Was a bit sceptical at first but this thing is strong. Mounted it bedside and it hasn't moved once. My husband also put one in his Land Cruiser for the farm. Installation took less than 10 minutes. Will definitely be buying more for the rest of the vehicles.

Living in Joburg you need quick access and this delivers. Mounted it under my desk at the office and another in the car. Magnet is incredibly strong — no movement at all even on bad roads. Packaging was great and delivery was fast. 10/10 from me.

Frequently Asked Questions

How strong is the magnet?

The MagDraw Pro uses a high-powered rare-earth neodymium magnet capable of holding most standard pistols and compact firearms securely — even on rough gravel roads and off-road terrain. It will not drop or rattle under normal driving conditions.

Which firearms are compatible?

The MagDraw Pro is compatible with most semi-automatic pistols, revolvers, and compact firearms including popular South African models such as the Z88, CZ 75, Glock 17/19, Sig Sauer P226, and many more. It is not recommended for very large or heavy rifles.

How do I install it?

Installation is simple and takes less than 10 minutes. The mount can be attached using the included heavy-duty screws for a permanent fix, or strong 3M adhesive tape for a no-drill option. It can be mounted inside your bakkie, under a desk, beside your bed, in a cupboard, or on any flat surface.

Will it damage my firearm's finish?

The MagDraw Pro is fitted with a protective rubber coating on the magnetic surface to prevent scratching or marking your firearm's finish. It is safe for use with both blued and stainless steel firearms.

Is it legal to use in South Africa?

Yes — the MagDraw Pro is a firearm storage accessory and is legal to use in South Africa. However, it is the owner's responsibility to ensure their firearm is stored and secured in compliance with the Firearms Control Act No. 60 of 2000. Always ensure your firearm is stored responsibly and out of reach of children.

What is included in the box?

Each MagDraw Pro pack includes: 1x Magnetic Gun Mount, mounting screws, 3M adhesive pad, and an instruction card. Simple, no-fuss — everything you need for a quick install.

What South Africans Are Saying

I've tried three different mounts over the years and nothing comes close to the MagDraw Pro. It holds my Glock 17 rock solid under my bakkie seat — even on the farm roads out near Bela-Bela. Quick draw, no fuss. This is the one.

As a woman living alone in Pretoria East, having quick access to my firearm gives me real peace of mind. The MagDraw Pro is mounted bedside and I barely know it's there — until I need it. Installation was easy and it looks neat. Very impressed.

Bought two — one for my Land Cruiser and one for the office. Both installed in under 15 minutes. The magnet is seriously strong, my CZ 75 hasn't budged once. Great South African product at a fair price. Will be buying more for the guys at the lodge.
